Playin' In The Dirt

The weather has definitely shown it's multiple personality disorder lately, but it hasn't stopped me from working on the garden beds and getting my seeds growing.
First set of garden beds de-weeded. I do miss playing in the dirt.
My new best friend....the original Over & Out is great but this new
version works in 15 minutes! Love it!

Seed Starting 2014

Started planting some of my seeds to get started on the gardening this season. I though I had saved more tomato seeds from last season but I didn't....so....that's on my list of "must get" items this weekend.

Thinking Ahead

It's that time of year again.....time to start thinking ahead to Spring planting. Time to get out there and weed out the old overgrowth in the garden beds and work on the composting. I'm determined to get my seeds started no later than next week so I can get a good root system going especially on my tomatoes. That way when time comes to put them in the ground, transplanting will be no issue.
